PANJIM: With the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade ruling out any plans of Cabinet reshuffle anytime soon, Ports Minister Michael Lobo said the decision has been reached post the ZP poll victory, wherein the BJP got a thumping majority.
Lobo said the BJP bagged 33 seats in the ZP polls and that gave it the confidence to take decision on Cabinet reshuffle.
Speaking to reporters on sidelines of a function, Lobo said, “My opinion is there should be cabinet reshuffle for better functioning and administration. But party has taken a decision and I do not want to say anything. This is my point of view. CM’s and party’s opinions are different.”
Lamenting that the concerns raised by him have not been heard, Lobo said there is no point on talking on that issue as the CM and party have already taken a decision.
“I think they have taken a decision post ZP win which has given BJP a thumping majority,” he said.
Sawant and BJP State President Tanavade during their visit to Lobo’s residence for Christmas ruled out Cabinet reshuffle.
