PANJIM: The District Magistrate, North Goa has asked the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) to issue show cause notice for revocation of occupancy/construction licence to the Caculo Mall management, as the mall authorities have failed to fulfill assurances made to the District Magistrate of providing a workable solution to the parking problem.
Stating that as the mall authorities had failed to come up with an amicable solution to the parking issue, the District Magistrate had requested the Superintendent of Police (Traffic), North Goa to implement the notification dated 30/10/2014 issued by the District Magistrate for no parking.
Stating that it is the responsibility of the mall authorities to provide adequate parking space for the mall and they seem to have failed in this regard and have violated the conditions laid down by CCP in the occupancy certificate or licence issued and therefore CCP has to take cognizance of the violation and issue show cause notice for revocation of license.
