Calangute police arrest one, recover stolen goods

CALANGUTE, OCT 17
Calangute Police arrested a person and recovered electronic items worth Rs 2 lakh at Calangute.
Calangute Police team led by PI Nolasco Raposo achieved a breakthrough in theft related cases by arresting Rohan Salgaonkar on October 11 and recovering from him various items, including electronics goods.
Police further informed that the accused confessed of various thefts in the coastal belts of Calangute and Anjuna.
Calangute Police recovered four laptops, four mobile phones, three cameras and other items, all worth Rs 2 lakh. The four laptops were stolen from a parked car in Anjuna. Rohan Salgaonkar has been transferred to Anjuna Police station for further investigations.
