PANJIM, JAN 22 Seems like the professional burglars are back in action again as a house in a densely populated Campal area was looted of jewelry and valuables worth Rs 83,000.

Seems like the professional burglars are back in action again as a house in a densely populated Campal area was looted of jewelry and valuables worth Rs 83,000.
According to a complaint filed by Viraj Shirgaonkar, a resident of La Campala Colony, between January 17 and January 22, when he was not in his house, some unknown persons gained entry by breaking open a window from back side and stole jewelry.
The complainant said when he returned home today he observed his window was broken open and the jewelry in the cupboard missing. The jewelry included a gold bracelet, two bangles, silver items and TV all worth Rs 83,000. The Panjim police have registered a case under section 427, 454, 457 and 380 against unknown persons.
