MAPUSA: The cause of death of the two Andhra youth on the opening day of Sunburn Klassiqe on Friday remains under suspense as the viscera test of the deceased will ascertain the exact cause of death.
DySP and SDPO North, GajananPrabhudesai, said that the post mortem of both the deceased has been completed, however, the doctors have reserved the report to declare the cause of death as the viscera test is required to ascertain the exact cause .
“The cause of the death is pending since we are awaiting chemical analysis and pathological report. The viscera sample will be sent to a forensics lab outside Goa for examination.”
Sources said that the two youth had come to attend the Sunburn Klassique electronic dance music festival and died outside the gates of the event venue. The incident was reported at 2.30pm on Friday, just before the opening of Sunburn Klassique festival.
The two tourists Sai Prasad and Venkat are IT professionals and had come together to Goa to attend the event. They had checked in at hotel at Ashwem.
