PANJIM: To deal with slippery footpaths and the risk it poses pedestrians, the staff of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) began sprinkling bleaching powder on them to make it safer for the public.
“Bleaching powder has been sprinkled on most slippery footpaths in my ward and also other footpaths in CCP jurisdiction,” said Panjim Deputy Mayor Vasant Agshikar and councillor of ward 26 on Tuesday.
