Soon after the incident, local ward members and residents gathered at the site to assist the affected family. Former MLA Kiran Kandolkar and Zilla Panchayat member Kavita Kandolkar also visited the residence to assess the damage and express support to the family.

A team from the Mapusa Fire Station inspected the site and informed the residents that the fallen tree would be cut and removed on Monday morning. Officials said the operation was deferred until daylight due to poor visibility and to ensure the safety of personnel involved in the clearance work.
