PANJIM: Managing Director of Timblo Pvt Ltd, Chetan Timblo, failed to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Crime Branch for questioning in the multi-crore mining scam probe.
SIT had issued him summons on October 5 to depose before it on Friday. However, he being out of country, his questioning has been rescheduled.
“Timblo is abroad which is why he could not depose for questioning today. SIT will issue him fresh summons to appear on another date, once he is back,” a police source said.
On Thursday, SIT had questioned Anil Counto of Alcon Cement Pvt Ltd on his role in alleged illegal jetty at Kothambi-Bicholim.
