CII hails opening of Bharatiya Mahila Bank

PANJIM: CII welcomes the inauguration of Bharatiya Mahila Bank as one of the cornerstone development towards achieving meaningful financial inclusion. Welcoming the opening of the bank, CII director deneral Chandrajit Banerjee said the bank would help in making dedicated efforts in providing better access of financial services to women and hence encourage women entrepreneurship, promote equity in asset ownership and ensure greater participation of women in the economic activity.
