A ‘Zebra Crossing’ is very essential on busy roads as it helps the pedestrians to cross the road without facing danger from the moving traffic.
The vehicular drivers are expected to remain aware of the pedestrians crossing the road at the ‘Zebra Crossing’. But at this particular ‘Zebra Crossing’ located on the road near the busy vegetable market in Vasco the pedestrians are not able to cross the road because of the road-barrier kept right in the path of the ‘Zebra Crossing’.
One fails to understand the logic behind the presence of a ‘Zebra Crossing’ if the pedestrian are going to be stopped in their track by a road-barrier.
While the ‘Zebra Crossing’ allows the pedestrians to cross the road, ironically the road-barrier prevents them from doing so.
