Sad to see the unfortunate state of Betalbatim lake. The lake is now fully infested with weeds and grass.
The migratory birds that used to come and settle from the far away land over Himalayan range have abandoned our lake. This was a beautiful lake with clear water span once. The government has spent 1 crore on the lake this year which is all in the dirt now. Is there any one responsible for this? Can anyone help us to bring back our lake in its original State?
