When I was crossing the road by using the correct zebra crossing line near the Margao Municipality I was shocked to see the motor vehicles and two wheelers parked on my way on the zebra crossing line. Yes the vehicles are parked and stopped on the zebra crossing line blocking my crossing way. The traffic police man is standing but no one cares to take the vehicle and fine the trouble makers who are blocking the line marked for crossing for the public.
Rules are made for all and everyone must follow them in order to give a way to the citizens passing by. It was noticed that even many vehicles are crossing the line and some are stopping on zebra crossing line. I request Goa Police and traffic cell to take quick action in this matter. MMC and traffic cell should lift these vehicles which are been parked on zebra crossing line and on no parking zone. Not following rules means this law breakers don’t care for the police and its rule. Our state government must come out with strong rules and regulations and also see that they are strictly followed by one and all.
