The area behind Sulabh Shauchalaya at the South Goa Planning Development Authority complex, Margao has the most unhygienic environment of a public facility in the State. Overflowing sewage with floating, stinky human waste is found in what has become a virtual cesspool.
Passersby and users/traders of the market are exposed to nauseating stench and smell from the area, further it is a breeding ground for mosquito larvae, cockroaches and other vectors of disease. Will the Margao town fathers look into the matter and set things right before things get out of hand?
