Thanks to your good offices for publishing my letter on Citizen Herald dated October 4, 2021, regarding the garbage dump that Osia Commercial Arcade in Margao had become. The authorities have woken up from their slumber; no more litter or dogs seating in the corridors, no paan-gutka stains either.
The passageways and stairs have been cleaned and the walls given a coat of enamel paint dado. We hope that the arcade which houses offices, cinemas, a clothing store, restaurants, RTO, the South Goa Town and Country Planning Department and other establishments and which sees thousands of footfalls a day is maintained properly in future also.
