Corroded electricity pole on 18th June Road Panjim cries for attention

An electricity pole on the busy 18th June Road, opposite to Sahakar Bhandar, Junta House, Panjim is posing serious danger to the life and property of the users of the road and the space around.  The entire body of the pole is corroded posing risk of getting crashed anytime.  
But the immediate cause of concern is that the half of the diameter of the hollow pole at the height, little over a meter from the ground level is punctured due to corrosion, which has created over an inch wide horizontal slot hole in the body of the pole making the pole vulnerable of its getting knocked down with a slightest dash. This is posing a serious risk to the pedestrians, motorists and for the nearby property. 
The authorities need to take immediate action to replace the electricity pole and avoid the dangers to the lives and the property. The electricity connections are also bound to get cut off.
