CURCHOREM: Curchorem locals have urged the Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited to restart the second shuttle service from Curchorem to Panjim and back.
In a letter to the Managing Director, the locals stated, “We would like to bring to your kind attention that the shuttle service which leaves at Curchorem at 7.30 am is going full and compels some commuters to travel standing due to the absence of second shuttle service. Many face hardships, especially the senior citizens to travel standing to Panjim via Margao.
They requested to restart the second shuttle bus service which was earlier leaving from Curchorem at 7.50 am and stopped due to COVID-19 pandemic.
They also brought to the notice of the MD that more students will be travelling on this route as schools/colleges are about to reopen from mid-June as a result number of passengers will increase substantially.
