There is an increase in numbers of gaddas on the Aquem side outside the Margao Railway Station.
The area is in an unhygienic condition and the drainage system is perennially smelling, besides being filled with garbage bags, plastic bags, etc. I don’t understand how the people can eat in this unhygienic area.
Forty days ago MMC chairperson told the media that action will be taken against the illegal gaddas on the Aquem side of the Margao Railway Station, but till today no action had be taken.
I request the health minister, Margao MLA and Margao MMC and the health department to take strong action and clear the gaddas, which are creating problems and serving unhygienic food in a dirty area, which can cause several diseases.
Please try to keep Margao city and its surroundings clean so that tourists visiting Goa can see how clean we are.
