PONDA: The electricity pole located in the middle of road at Prabunagar-Ponda leading towards to Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir and Bethora Village Panchayat is posing risk to the motorists and pedestrians.
On Sunday, one car driver unaware and unexpected of the pole in the middle of the road while proceeding towards Ponda hit the car to the electricity pole thereby damaging his car.

It may be recalled that the road leading to Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir has been widened few years ago and so the roadside pole is now appears in the middle of road. The locals since past many years are demanding to shift the pole at the roadside fearing that it may invite accidents and pose risk to life of the motorists and pedestrians.
