Recently, when I was near a cafe, a stone almost landed on my head from a 4th or 5th floor of a high rise building.
There were some labourers doing repair work without following safety precautions. They are supposed to install a net for safety while doing such construction work on the external wall or on windows.
I have many times noticed such construction work is carried out all over the city without taking any precautionary measures.
The PWD and CCP must ensure no construction is carried out anywhere in the city if safety precautions are violated while undertaking external work.
Who does one fix the responsibility on if any accident or injury takes place?
