Verna village is blessed with underground cabling since the last four/five years but the ground reality is that there are frequent power outages sometimes four/five times daily due to snapping of the overhead 110kv/220kv main transmission lines putting the consumers to a lot of inconvenience.
Sometimes there are long planned shutdowns for maintenance which are apparently not notified in the daily newspapers.
This problem has got more compounded due to transfer of some parts of Verna to the Majorda Sub-station, which has constant problems with the Xeldem feeder.
We request the Sub Div X1V Officials at Verna to get the whole of Verna fed through the Verna sub-station as before.
The A/E and J/Es should wake up from their deep slumber to make power available to us 24×7 so that the oft repeated slogan of power to all 24×7 is not just lip service but a reality.
