For years, the city of Margao has been seeking solutions to burning issues it faces like garbage disposal and collection, parking problems, traffic congestion etc. The most recent of them being water logging in many areas of the city. But representatives elected to the council have been busy playing merry-go-round with regards to the leadership. To add to this, the city has had a MLA for almost two decades, but to no outcome.
It is high time our greedy and self-centered councillors (and the devious politicians supporting them) concentrate on working for the betterment of the city instead of squabbling among themselves to get to the top.
