Through the ‘Citizen Herald’ column in the Herald edition dated August 22, I had reported about a huge heap of garbage that was lying at the base of a tree along the Swatantra Path in Vasco near the market place.
The authorities concerned have cleared the garbage and no waste was seen dumped again at this spot for over a week.
