Traffic signboards are meant for the benefit of commuters proceeding along the routes. However, at times we come across instances wherein they fail to serve the basic purpose.
Seen in the picture is a signboard covered with bushes along Farmagudi-Veling route in Ponda. Due to these bushes, motorists are unable to capture the necessary message mentioned on the signboard. This is likely to cause accidents at the spot.
It is absolutely necessary that travellers are assured safety on a permanent basis. The concerned department should take a note of this and clear the bushes immediately.
