The shuttle bus services, started by Kadamba Transport Corporation, are a boon to daily commuters/passengers in Goa as it is available in various cities, especially Panjim, Margao, Vasco and other places.
However, the said service in Vasco-Margao route is very poor as no buses are available in mornings for the working class people/passengers going for work in the private and public sectors.
Everyday there is chaos on the bus stand and the staff and commuters/daily passengers are always in a scuffle, at Kadamba bus stop, where shuttle service starts at market. Vasco to Margao shuttle bus service is so poor that people have to stand almost half an hour for next bus to come and pick them up.
The said problem is faced everyday by passengers going for work. There are no buses between 8.30 am and 9 am, and if there is any bus, only one every half an hour. On other hand at same bus stand, for Panjim city, there is bus every five minutes and continuous buses irrespective of passengers are there or no for commuting. There is no adjustment to ply buses to Margao, if there is large number of passengers in the queue for Margao. Buses are in queue available for Panjim.
If there are four buses leaving to Panjim, hardly one bus is available for Margao city. Even if there are no passengers to Panjim still there are buses in queue waiting for hours but same is not made available for Margao. The authorities are requested to look into the matter and find solution for the same or our humble request is to stop services from Vasco-Margao and back.
The passengers will find some other alternatives like private buses as its common practice in Goa.
