The trust of this hall has rich resources, plus the government had sponsored around Rs 50 lakhs to renovate it. But, nothing has been done to improve the condition of this hall. The trustees can easily fit an AC inside so that the tiatr-viewers are not troubled by the heat inside. It’s high time we get our own govt hall for Mapusa.

Hanuman Theatre is the only hall available in Bardez to enact ‘tiatrs’. However, the seats are uncomfortable and the fans are ineffective against the heat.
