I was on a family outing recently to Aqua waterfalls and other seasonal waterbodies on the Verna plateau but was disgusted to find the pristine environment sullied by visitors.
Broken beer bottles, plastic bags, discarded chip packets, stale food leftover from a picnic perhaps and other trash littered the area. It was not just an eyesore but the glass shards scattered on the rocks and even in the waterfall are a danger to life and limb.
Even animals keep their habitats clean. Is it too much to expect from fellow humans to do so?
