A water valve pertaining to the main water pipeline situated along Paunwada-Two Pillars, Kavalem route in Ponda has been noticed leaking for the past over a month. Hence a large quantity of water has been going waste in the open. Certainly, we cannot afford to waste the much precious water this way at any instance. As on May 04 at 7:30 am situation in this regard was found to be unchanged.
Some of the residents have also been noticed collecting water from this leaking valve for their household purposes.
I sincerely request the higher officials at the Public Works Department (PWD Daag) in Ponda to take a serious note of this important matter and initiate immediate favourable action in repairing this leaking valve so that further wastage of water is avoided at once. Let us hope that immediate favourable action will follow in this serious matter.
