Road dug up for power sub-station work causing traffic congestion at Arambol

ARAMBOL: The ongoing work of the electricity sub-station at Arambol has led to digging up of the road making it difficult for the motorists to commute.

Some are also parking their vehicles on this narrow road adding woes to the problem. “The traffic jam takes more time as there are two-wheelers parked near the vegetable shop,” said Dayesh Morajkar, a motorist.

Meanwhile, the dug up stretch is filled up with soil once the cables are laid which creates dust pollution. Two-wheeler riders often face trouble while riding as the dust goes up in the air after trucks drive past them.
