Guirdolim villagers have a tough time travelling along the underpass and approach road near the Railway crossing. The road is dotted with potholes and has been washed away with the rains at many places.
The road is so bad that motorists have to drive on little that is left of it. They often meet with accidents and injure themselves. The vehicle owners are forced to spend heavily on the wear and tear of their vehicles for no fault of theirs for riding on the potholed roads.
This only speaks of shoddy workmanship and substandard material used to construct the road. Even the Anthoi and other village roads are having huge potholes and it is high time the government takes cognizance of the mess and patch up the damaged roads at the earliest keeping public safety in mind.
