The service providers have harvested fields in a haphazard manner in Sangolda. Besides charging people exorbitantly, the work was done in a haphazard manner. Just the sheaves of rice was harvested while the other part was left in the field as a result the fields could not be ploughed and cowpeas could not be sown. One fails to understand that despite complaints field by farmers against the service providers why does the department give the contract of harvesting to their blue eyed boys? Are we promoting agriculture or are we trying to destroy it?
