The SGPDA fruit and vegetable market sees thousands of footfalls daily but the area around the building is a mess. Missing pavers, misaligned drain covers, choked drains, rotting produce discarded by the vendors, garbage strewn around, traffic jams etc. lead to a very unpleasant experience for customers. The drain covers and missing pavers are a cause of accidents for both pedestrians and vehicles. The authorities concerned really need to spruce up the place, it is a dangerous, dirty and chaotic mess now.
