Large amount of garbage is seen scattered by the side of the main road while entering the port town of Vasco. This presents a sore sight to the visitors and also raises a stink.
This black spot located at Vaddem appears to be a garbage collection point as there are several garbage bins placed here. However, the garbage is seen strewn all over the place. There is a reputed hotel in close vicinity as well as a showroom of home appliances across the road.
The pedestrians need to pass this trash as they walk along the road shoulder. A garbage collection point needs to be located far away from the main road and not along the side of a busy road. The authorities need to shift the garbage collection point to the interior, far from the view of the citizens.
