Vehicles parked right on the pavement on Cunha Rivara road and near the statue of Abbe de Faria are regular features. Why are even tourist vehicles not scared of following traffic discipline? What is this mess in Panjim?
No traffic discipline, no parking spaces, unused vehicles languishing for years, parking spaces not marked, vehicles going through no entry with no worry of being caught, double parking all along, why?
I request the concerned authorities to look seriously into traffic planning, parking planning and traffic discipline in the city. Goans come to the city, but many have to either park haphazard because there is no proper place, or have to go back without accomplishing their work. Also, please work towards disallowing vehicles of casino goers from parking in the city. Let them park at the white elephant multi level parking lot. Please ease our living in the city of Panjim.
