Toilets at Margao Ravindra Bhavan pathetic

I wish to highlight the pathetic state of the toilets especially tthe ladies washroom in the government-run Margao Ravindra Bhavan that was once boasted of being the state-of-the-art during its inauguration by the former Goa chief minister Digambar Kamat who is now the present Opposition Leader and Margao Congress legislator for several terms.
I wish to point out to the sorry plight of several visitors who throng to this prestigious government institution of art and culture to witness the numerous tiatrs, Konkani movies, musical shows, book releases, exhibitions and other cultural extravaganzas.
When they visit the toilets during the breaks, prior or after the shows or events conclude particularly since in the gents sections of the washrooms, the electrical fixtures to the urinals are either seen dangling or the faucets and other infrastructures are broken.
Likewise, the condition of the WCs in the women’s compartments are in a far worse state as they are either dirty or broken causing severe inconvenience to the several women visiting the loo, besides possibly posing a health hazard.
I urge both the dynamic Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude as well as the former Deputy Chief Minister and present two-term Fatorda GFP MLA Vijai Sardesai to kindly intervene by conducting a surprise inspection of the entire premises of this institution and ensure that the present BJP government led by Dr Pramod Sawant immediately releases the necessary funds for its regular upkeep and much desired repairs that are undertaken at the earliest.
