Recently, there was an accident little further than Carvalho’s petrol pump.
A bus had met with an accident and was kept in the middle of the road. I was passing that road at 3.45 pm and had to crawl to reach across the bus as there was a big line of cars, buses and tempos. Thank heaven.
I was on two-wheeler. When I was returning home at 5.30 pm the bus was still there and no police was seen doing the panchanama. Government of Goa is spending lakhs of rupees every month to maintain the control van and their personal and this is done for the betterment of the citizen and if the personnel do not do their duty it is better to scrap the control van and outsource the services to some private people on contract basis as this will be cheaper than the first.
