MARGAO: The Clergy Home in Margao was sanitised on Thursday after several cases of coronavirus infection among the inmates of the home had come to the fore.
The Ward councilor Glen Andrade requested authorities and got the Clergy Home sanitized. “In old clergy home Margao, old retired clergies who are in their 80’s and who have immensely contributed towards Goan churches reside and are now on the sunset of their life have to be protected from this virus” said Glen.
The full building was sanitized for nearly 3 hours which includes all the furniture and external items.
Fr Santan Faleiro, administrator of Clergy home, CP Pooja Naik were present during sanitization which consisted of an expert team from Margao Municipality.
