MARGAO: Taking cognisance of outbreak of dengue at Cutbona, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Thursday said that he has issued directions to the health director to initiate necessary action in the matter.
The Chief Minister sought to attribute the dengue outbreak to the entry of migrant workers in the area. “I have issued necessary directions to check up the matter at Cutbona. It appears that dengue has raised its ugly head because there are outside labourers, who are the carriers”, he said, while reiterating that health department will initiate necessary action.
