PANJIM: The State government has nominated Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant as the Board of Director and Chairperson of Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (GSIDC) with immediate effect.
Reportedly, Sawant was the chairperson of GSIDC during the tenure of the previous government and during his first tenure as a member of the Goa Legislative Assembly when the late Manohar Parrikar was the chief minister. The GSIDC, the government-owned enterprise takes up all the major infrastructure projects including bridges in the State.
