PONDA: The man who was stabbed by his sister at Sacorda Collem on Sunday night over an alleged property dispute succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday morning at 11.30 am in GMC, Bambolim.
Following this development, the police who had earlier registered an attempt to murder case while arresting the sister, now converted the charge to a murder offence. Police also recovered the knife used in the crime and are seeking to extend her remand for custodial inquiry.
The mother of the deceased had filed the complaint against her daughter with the Collem Police, which is carrying out further investigations under the guidance of Police Inspector Prajyoth Fadte.
