Colva cops arrive late, fail to avert bullfight

As usual, the Colva police reached late as fighter bulls locked horns in Majorda village on Saturday afternoon.
The incident is believed to have occurred around noon, but before a Colva police team could reach the venue, the bullfight lovers had already dispersed from the venue.
The fighter bulls were also nowhere seen around.
However, based on information gathered by the beat police personnel, the Colva police has registered an offence against one person and are on the look out for another person.
PI Sidhant Shirodkar could not be contacted for more details but PSI Gawde said an offence has been registered against one person.
