Colva VP to deliberate on HC directives

The Colva Panchayat will deliberate later next week the high court directions to stop issuing construction licenses to multi-dwelling units and to clean up the village of the waste lying in open public places.
Panchayat secretary Alaudin said the high court directions will be placed before the meeting of the Panchayat body next week.
“Apart from the directions to stop issuing construction licenses to multi-dwelling units, the court had asked the Panchayat to clean up the public places in the village of the waste. The Panchayat would deliberate on the identification of sites for dumping of the waste once cleared from the public places”, the Panchayat secretary added.
