VASCO: GPCC general secretary Janardhan Bhandari on Thursday filed a complaint at the Vasco Police Station against Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho, MLAs Alina Saldanha and Joshua Peter De Souza and others.

Bhandari claimed that the ministers violated the COVID safety norms such as social distancing during the inaugural function of Grade Separator recently and has sought for necessary action against them.
In his complaint, Bhandari stated that subsequent to the WHO declaring the COVID-19 a global pandemic, the Government of India and Government of Goa have issued various orders/ circulars/ advisory to ensure that spread of the virus is controlled. Such guideline/advisory is issued to ensure that the disease does not spread.
