The presence of high-voltage overhead wires in Rawanfond
Circle has become a cause for concern among local residents due to safety
issues. For nearly two years, an electricity pole has remained dangerously
tilted. Despite repeated requests to the authorities, no action has been
initiated to rectify the situation or repair the damaged poles.
Local residents are expressing their concerns, highlighting
the deteriorating condition of the pole, which lacks the necessary support.
They have pointed out that the bottom portion of the pole is rusted, and
approximately 60% of the pole is bent, posing a clear hazard to vehicles.
Locals fear that a major accident could occur if the live
electricity wire were to fall onto a moving vehicle. In light of these
concerns, they are urgently requesting that the authorities prioritize the
maintenance and repair of the hazardous pole to ensure the safety of both
residents and road users.
