MARGAO: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday claimed that the acrimonious reaction to an ‘innocuous hypothetical’ discussion between two persons, in the SSC exam English grammar paper, is a result of guilt that 20 years of power shared between Congress and BJP has failed the youth of Goa.
In a post on social media, Aam Aadmi Party convenor Elvis Gomes defended the teachers involved in the setting of the examination paper stating that prima facie, there was neither any misconduct nor any offence on their part that merited action against them.
Gomes said the government should not have caved in to the pressure brought on it by the party.
He also questioned the silence of former Congress MLAs who had embraced the BJP.
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party wrote to the State Governor demanding that action be taken against the CM and others for violation of Section 144 of the CrPC at the inauguration of the grade separator.
