PONDA: In a bid to rejuvenate the party, Congress party convened a meeting at Talaulim in Marcaim constituency on Wednesday night.

PONDA: In a bid to rejuvenate the party, Congress party convened a meeting at Talaulim in Marcaim constituency on Wednesday night.
Spokesperson Durgadas Kamat, who is also in-charge of Marcaim constituency, said with the meeting at Talaulim late Wednesday evening, the party has started holding such meetings all over the State.
“The party workers should overcome the fear and voice local issues. We will stand by them. We will improve the image by building the party,” said Kamat and added that the Congress party is targeting to win the 2017 assembly election in Goa.
Speaking at the meeting, Congress President John Fernandes told the workers that the ruling BJP government is wasting funds on unwanted works.
