PANJIM: The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee has appointed Peter Coutinho and Harishchandra Mankar as presidents of Block Committees of Navelim and Valpoi respectively.
With these appointments, 38 out of 40 block presidents have taken charge. GPCC has also reconstituted the North and South Goa District Congress Committees retaining Vijay Bhike and Joseph Dias as presidents. GPCC also approved the Reconstitution of 29 Block Congress Committees that includes Mandrem, Pernem, Bicholim, Tivim, Mapusa, Siolim, Saligao, Aldona, Panjim, Santa Cruz, St Andre, Cumbarjua, Mayem, Sanquelim, Priol, Ponda, Shiroda, Marcaim, Vasco, Cortalim, Curtorim, Margao, Benaulim, Cuncolim, Velim, Quepem, Curchorem, Sanvordem and Canacona.
