MARGAO: Calling the Congress a divided house, Goa Forward Party (GFP) said that the former is tired of making attempts to come to power in Goa.
The GFP said it does not wish to reply to Siddhanath Buyao’s allegations and claimed that he has been all over the political parties in Goa.
Addressing media persons in Margao, GFP spokesperson Trajano D’Mello said, “The demand of the GPCC president Girish Chodankar to ban fish imports and exports has not even been raised by his legislators in the Assembly. And this raises a question whether the GPCC president is taken seriously or not”.
“Congress is a divided house. GPCC president makes a demand and there is no corresponding demand in the Assembly,” Trajano added.
Replying to GPCC President’s statement on Congress’ denial to form Government with GFP, he said, “The national party (Congress) is tired of pleading and begging with the GFP president to quit the alliance and join it (Congress) to help the Congress come to power.”
