Congress has demanded that an SIT or a Retired HC judge
inquiry be set up to probe all the recruitments to all goverment departments since
2019. Former GPCC President Girish Chodankar said that presently a committee
has been set up, but it has no powers and will only review videos of the
physical test. This is to mislead and cover up the entire recruitment scam in
the police department, he alleged. He also reminded that one
individual who had failed the constable examination had got 100% marks in
the PSI examination. The entire examination process was compromised. Hence all
recruitments have to be probed.
