PANJIM: The process for the Congress organisational elections has begun, with the polls to elect the new district committees scheduled on September 27. The election process, including election of the new State president, has to be completed by October 15.
Pradesh returning officer Pankaj Punia said the elections for North and South Goa district Congress committees will be held on September 27, while the nominations will take place on September 26.
Filing of nominations will be held from 10.00am to 1.00pm while the withdrawals will take place from 2.00pm to 3.00pm on September 26.
The South Goa district committee election will take place at the Congress office in Margao from 10.00am to 12.00pm. For North, the polling will take place from 3.00pm to 5.00pm in the party head office.
