PANJIM: Congress on Friday slammed the Narendra Modi government and termed the three years of Prime Minister Modi as a story of broken promises and shattered dreams.
All India Congress Committee (AICC) Social Media In charge, Divya Spandana, said that media management, propaganda, platitudes and acronyms have been the only success stories. She said, “Bravado, rhetoric and hyperbole sum up the three years of BJP government. Modi government’s three years have been a story of broken promises and shattered dreams.”
Taking a dig at the Prime Minister for only being vocal through his radio-based program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ and public rallies, Spandana said, “Three years of Modi government can be described in one line, ‘Mera Bhashan Hi Mera Shaashan’.”
She released a list of alleged scams of the Modi govt, which included Vyapam scam, Chattisgarh PDS scam of Rs 36,000 crore, Lalitgate, Vijay Mallya escapade and 36 others.
Stating that even Pakistan had taken initiatives against those named in the Panama Expose, Spandana said, “We have not even initiated any investigations so far.”
